Why should you join?

The benefits of Membership include:​

• In New York: The Chapter presents demonstration-exhibit programs, representing different schools and aspects of Japanese culture and Ikebana exhibitions.

• The Ikebana International Magazine/Newsletter: Three issues per year, richly illustrated with color plates of Ikebana arrangements and Japanese art.

• Regional Conferences and World Conventions: Regional conferences are held for educational and cultural purposes throughout the world. Examples: The European Conference was held in Belgium in 2018, and the North American Conference was held in Dallas in 2019.  A World convention is held in Japan every five years.

• Public Exhibitions and Flower Shows: Members have the opportunity to exhibit their arrangements in public exhibitions. Currently our annual Flower Show is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
